A Light In The Sky Darkest Dungeon

Iratus is a necromancer, imprisoned ages ago in winding tunnels of an underground dungeon. To break free, he must raise his army of the undead and face those who stand in his way to freedom. The game is a combination of dungeon management and turn-based RPG, in which the player controls their minions in battle and improves their dungeon both defensively and aesthetically.

This territory is avilable after your 2nd dungeon run (including your tutorial road dungeon). The starting dungeon run is short and starts on L1 difficulty. Break the barrier - you don't need to place any item on it - and start bashing. You can retreat any time by using the X in the top left corner, however, you may want to stay for more rewards.

The Farmstead maps got kill meters and your aim is to fill the bar. Later on - higher level - you may camp between the different bar parts. These runs will reward you with Crystal Shards, which is needed to by crystal based items from the Nomad Wagon. Once the bar is filled, you are done with your 1st Farmstead run. Later on you stay for a long-long time... Now you'll receive 12 Comet Shards and some other items. If this was your 3rd dungeon, you can unlock the Courtyard (if you got the DLC).

This dungeon may becomes difficult once you realize the dead enemy will be recovered into a living bomb (e.g. Crystalline Aberration), which will explode and do massive or single damage effect on your heroes if you can't kill it in your turns. Thus, it is usually better to kill these bombs first - even so there are live enemies around.

While in a simple dungeon you got a Torch to have light, you got a Miasma (The Farmstead's Miasma) instead. It will cause random negative effects - up to level -, e.g. -10% Healing Received and +10% Stress.

2016's Darkest Dungeon is a role-playing dungeon crawler game made by Red Hook Studios.
