Another benefit of this save editor, is that you are able to make Red have the same abilities as other characters, and when playing as Red you don't have to use his abilities to help you out. So, instead of using his defensive ability to dodge attacks, you can just have him parry them.
The editor is in beta state, and currently doesn't have much functionality. But, if you want to use it to make your Final Fantasy VII Remake life better, then it's definitely worth the try. You can find it here . And you can download the latest nightly build here .
This week, Square Enix announced that the main antagonist from Final Fantasy VII has gained XP during Final Fantasy VII Remake. This came after the fact that the developers realised they could move the battle music from the scene where the player fought Space Pen Guy to the scene where the player fights Shinra.
For an example, you can reduce the amount of HP Red does in combat. This is useful because one of the main differences between Final Fantasy VII's combat system, and Kingdom Hearts's combat system, is that Kingdom Hearts's combat system acts the same in towns as it does in combat. So, by reducing the amount of HP Red has, you can make his HP more useful in towns.
Hiroyuki Ito could really do with being locked to admins only. We first began having problems back in September 2013 with the user SQEX (though issues with the article itself and the edit warring began back in May), and he was finally blocked in January.
The first step is to make the save editor visible by going to the main menu and clicking on the button next to Options and choosing Save Editor. This will make the Save Editor appear in the bottom-right corner of the screen. After that if you want to make a character, you'll need to add him to the save file. Click on the character you want to add and then click on the Edit button next to Action. Then navigate to the Save Editor tab and go to the tab that you want to add the character. In the images below we're adding a guest we named Eliw, but you should be careful to not add a character that already exists in the save file.
Editing these changes is very straightforward as most of it is done through the Export Tab. However, if the Save Editor is not activated the only export tab is the one which exports the weapons and armors in the world. Therefore we need to activate the Save Editor tab and then add our new characters, with the data we have, inside the export tab. You'll also notice that you can only edit the data for weapons and armors, not for the consumables or the consumable stats, or the keybindings. It's all done with the Save Editor which is very easy to use, so we'll use it to make the changes we need for the characters in the save. (Credit goes to Ssennik for this method.) 827ec27edc
